Annual Function and Prize Giving Ceremony
As the year draws to a close, we are pleased to share an update on November’s Annual Function and Prize Giving Ceremony, which brought together all five schools under the Superhands banner at AIS Islamgarh. The event was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the progress made possible by your generous support.
Students gave thoughtful presentations, highlighting the skills they have developed throughout the year. Prizes were awarded to students and staff in recognition of their hard work and achievements.
We are also pleased to share that AISI Principal Malik Aslam received an award for his role in guiding his students to excellent exam results. This recognition is a reflection of the dedication and effort that goes into fostering success at all levels of our schools.

Student’s Message
The following is a letter from class 10 student, Kaneez at AIS Islamgarh:
I am from Islamgarh, so I will tell you about its history and culture. Islamgarh is one of the oldest villages in the District of Mirpur (Azad Kashmir). Islamgarh is a village with a rich cultural and historical heritage.
This unique convergence of Punjabi Kashmiri roots, would shape the cultural identity of the Mirpuri people. For generations to come the traditional Mirpuri way of life revolved around agrarian villages, close-knit families, and strong Muslim heritage.
My family is very close and we love spending time together. I have a big family with my parents, siblings and grandparents. We often have dinner together and celebrate special occasions. My family loves to travel together and we go on trips every summer. My family is very supportive. They always encourage me in my studies. We have a lot of fun together, like playing games and watching movies. My parents teach me important values, and we respect each other.
I hope to finish my studies and get a good job in the future. Many young people want to travel and explore new places. I wish to make a positive impact in my community. Some of my friends hope to start their own business one day. I hope to learn new skills that will help in my future career and I hope to have a family of my own one day and create a happy home. I dream of going to college and studying something I love. Many young people are passionate about environmental issues and want to help for a peaceful future where everyone can live happily.
Education helps me gain knowledge and skills that are important for my future. It gives my family a sense of pride to see me studying and doing well with education. I have better job opportunities which can improve our family’s financial situation. Education teaches me how to think critically and make informed decisions. It also helps my family understand the importance of learning and encourages younger siblings to pursue their studies. Ultimately, education is not just about gaining knowledge, it’s about personal growth and contributing positively to my community.
