Superhands December 2023 News

Superhands Chairman, Abdul Qayyum Chaudhary recently travelled to Pakistan to see the progress the schools are making and discuss future plans. Our class 10 students at AIS Dina and AIS Islamgarh will be eligible for college education next school year in April. Upon completion of college (classes 11 and 12) they will be eligible to apply for University. This is a big milestone for the students and for the charity and those who have made this possible through their donations and support.

During his visit the Chairman met with the class 10 students and their parents to discuss this important next stage. It was agreed that Superhands will give scholarships for these students to attend local colleges. Currently it would not be economical for Superhands to extend the existing schools to include college students as there are a lot of requirements in terms of extra facilities and staff for a relatively small number of students. Granting scholarships is the most viable option.

All of the schools are running smoothly under the supervision of the new management team. AIS Manager Tasib Ch Hussain, a former high school principal has many years experience which is a great benefit to the schools.
