…And whatever you spend of anything (in Allah’s cause) He will replace it… (Qur’an 34:39) and may be multiplied many times especially in Ramadan.

What is Zakat?

Zakat is an act of worship we perform with the wealth Allah has blessed us with, and one of the five pillars of Islam. Zakat is a religious duty which clears away impurities from our provision and ensures excess wealth is distributed amongst those in need. Zakat literally means “that which purifies”. Allah almighty has made the payment of Zakat obligatory upon every adult Muslim who owns the Nisab (minimum amount), for one Islamic lunar year. It requires giving an amount (usually 2.5%) of one’s savings to the poor and needy.

Ramadan and Your Donations

Our schools, in Dina, Islamgarh, Khari Sharief, Mian Mohammed Town and Jatlan will this year provide free education to 530 students whose parents are eligible for Zakat. The last Holy Prophet of Islam highly graded those who learned and taught knowledge of the Holy Qur’an. Brothers and Sisters we believe that children are born with wings, teachers help them fly. You have the power to unlock a child’s imagination, open up possibilities and allow them to choose their own futures. You can become an unforgettable part of making childhood something to treasure. You can give children happy memories that will last a lifetime.

This Ramadan please give as generously as you can, by sending your Zakah, Sadaqah, Lillah, Zakatul Fitr (Fitrana), Fidyah or Kaffarah (for missed fasts), or other donations. A child will have you to thank for a better life.
