End of Academic Year News

End of Academic Year

Our schools are currently coming to the end of the academic year. Once again it is exam time for the students, where we will assess their progress during the term. When their exams are completed the students will break up for holidays.

This term has been a more stable time for our students. They are now settled into the new buildings at AISI and MMT, and students across all schools are making full use of their improved facilities.

New Admissions

When the new school year starts in April we will be admitting 125 new students, 25 in each school. This will take the total number of students to 825 across our five schools. We will also be recruiting new staff to accommodate the increased need.

Superhands’ vision has always been to uplift people in areas of disadvantage. Admission is given only to children from families who are eligible for zakat.

“The alms are meant only for the poor and the needy and those who are in charge thereof, those whose hearts are to be reconciled, and to free those in bondage, and to help those burdened with debt, and for expenditure in the Way of Allah and for the wayfarer. This is an obligation from Allah. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.”

(Qur’an 9:60)

It is our priority to support families with roots in the areas that we work, so that these communities have a better long-term future.

Schools Partnership

This term students of Allama Iqbal School Dina have continued their partnership with Christchurch school Sparkbrook, in Birmingham. Students are exchanging letters between the schools, sharing their experiences of school life and activities outside school. Students have enjoyed learning about life for their contemporaries in another part of the world.

Ramadan and Your Donations

“…And whatever you spend of anything (in Allah’s cause) He will replace it…” (Qur’an 34:39) and may be multiplied many times especially in Ramadan.

This Ramadan please give as generously as you can, by sendinging your Zakat, Sadaqah, Lillah, Zakat ul Fitr (Fitrana), Fidyah or Kaffarah (for missed fasts), Riba (accumulated interest money from your bank account to be used for charitable work), or other donations.
